The Shoot

Q. Where can I park on arrival?

A. Bright Photography is located directly opposite one of Newark's main car parks, so parking should be easy. 

Q. How long will my photo shoot take?

A. Each package has different times due to the nature of the shoots please look at the package details on the website for more information. Sessions may last less or more time depending on the size of the group. We ask all clients to turn up 15 minutes prior to shoot.

Q. How many photographs will the photographer take?

A. A great range of images will be taken for you to choose from. Most customers have so many images they love they find it hard to make a selection! But don’t worry we will be on hand to offer advice.

Q. How many people can I bring to the photo shoot?

A. If you have a family portrait voucher we can take up to 6 in the party with no more than 2 under 5’s.  For a newborn shoot or baby bump portrait session we invite parents to come along together or  for mum an and extra one sibling or friend and most importantly the new arrival.

Q. Can I get changed at the studio?

A. We have a small changing room at the studio and you’re welcome to change here for your shoot. All of the shoots include  an outfit change, so make sure you bring the appropriate clothes to change into.

Q. What should I wear?

A.For the best results we ask families and couples to discuss and co-ordinate outfits, we also recommend that you wear plain/smart outfitts, that do not contain strong patterns  and large logos as this can clash.

Q .Do you provide outfits and accessories?

We have a small but exciting wardrobe for newborn shoots, with a variety of props. We also offer drapes for bump shoots. For other all other portraits we ask you to please bring all the clothes and accessories you need for your shoot. 

Q. Can I bring along my own props for the photo-shoot?

A. Absolutely, our photographers love new ideas and are happy to discuss  ideas that could include some of your favourite things, but please let us know what you intend to bring first.

 

The viewing

Q. How long after my photo shoot will the photographs be ready to view?

A. We aim to have your images prepared for previewing a 10 working days after your photo shoot.

Q. Do I have to book an appointment to view my photographs?

A. Yes you will need to make an appointment to come back and see the photographs. Please bring your diary along to the photo shoot so we can book a convenient viewing date and time for you.

Q. How long will the viewing take?

A. Most people will take up to 45 minutes to make their order.

Q. Can I have my photographs printed in black and white?

A. Yes, all of our images are taken using state of the art digital cameras. This means you can buy images in colour, black and white or sepia.

Q. How long will it take to get my images?

A. After your viewing session it take upto 3 weeks for your finished order to be ready for collection.

Q. Can images be sent by post?

A. Yes, If you would prefer your images to be sent by post we can arrange this, however there will be an additional charge, which is based on the weight and size of the items ordered.

Q. How much do the images cost?

A. Bright Photography offers a wide range of finishes and frames in different sizes, in order to give you a unique portrait for your home. As a guide, prices range from £75 for a framed 12 x 8 image or canvas – wall portraits on aluminium, acrylic or canvas start from £195. You will be given a copy of our current price guide at your photo shoot. 

Q. What methods of payments do you accept?

A. We accept Visa, Maestro, Solo, MasterCard, Delta or Cash.

Q. Who owns the copyright on my images?

A. Bright Photography retains the copyright to all images taken at your session, however if you can purchase the images on disk then you will gain Bright Photography's permission to reproduce and use the images purchased.

 

General

Q. Are there any stairs to the studio or viewing rooms?

A. No, You will be happy to know, all facilities are on the first floor, though there is a small step when accessing the changing room and toilet
